The Extra Brut Millesimato Prosecco DOCG by Merotto is an excellent example of how elegance and freshness can come together perfectly in one glass. This sparkling wine comes from the lush hills of Valdobbiadene, known for their unique terroir particularly suitable for viticulture, and is made from 100% Glera grapes.
Visually, this Prosecco from Merotto presents itself with a bright straw yellow color, enriched by a fine and persistent perlage that caresses the palate. On the nose, lively scents of green apple, pear and floral notes unfold, inviting you to take the first sip. On the palate, the wine shows a wonderful freshness and a complex layering of flavors, with a sophisticated balance between acidity and a delicacy that makes this sparkling wine incredibly versatile, from light appetizers to fish dishes.

More about the winemaker
More about the winemaker
At the beginning of the 20th century, Agostino Merotto was already known for his Prosecco, but the structural, technological and commercial development of the company received its decisive impetus in the late 1980s with Graziano Merotto, his grandson and current owner. Merotto produces and vinifies only Glera grapes from its own cultivation and from small contract winegrowers. The cellars for storing and processing the grapes are dug into the rocks beneath the vineyards, where the wine is stored at a naturally controlled temperature.
